Kittens

The kittens I rear are given the best possible entrance into this world, they are born in the heart of a loving family home and always give birth in my company in our bedroom in a well prepared cosy nest. From day one they are cared for as the most precious little bundles of joy. They get regular handling so that they become used to being in contact with humans from day one. I let mum settle with them for the first few hours so that kittens can find their own way into healthy much needed colostrum milk. From then on mum takes over the looking after of her babies fully.

For the first few weeks after birth, kittens are kept in their nest with mum and as they get older and more confident they get the full run of the house. I believe this is one of the reasons why my kittens are so confident and make great pets. They are used to family life with other cats of different ages and with us as a family. They get plenty of play from each other and us of course.

At the age of 13 weeks minimum the kittens will be ready to leave for their new homes. Kittens will come fully vaccinated, by that I mean they would have had two vaccines including Leukaemia, you then need to vaccinate, if so desired, every year after that. They will be vet checked twice, microchipped, and they will come with a goodie bag with sample food, soft blanket and fun toys. They will also come with 5 weeks free insurance and certificates of vaccination, a 5 generation pedigree and registration documents with the GCCF. We have no fleas or worms to treat as we are all indoors here, it is recommended if your kitten will be outdoors to treat for fleas and worms.

​The kittens will be toilet trained and are on both wet and dry food as well as feeding from their mother for at least 13 weeks of their lives. I am feeding them with what to me is the best food for the best start in life, Katkin. All natural, fresh and perfect in every way, no hidden ingredients, just pure meat. Crunchies are down all the time. I use James Wellbeloved kitten. For litter tray filler I use wood or paper pellets.
